AlgalBio, Inc. (headquartered in Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan; Shu Kimura, President & CEO; hereinafter "the Company"), whose mission is "to contribute to the future of people and the planet through algae research and development," has been selected for the "2024 APAC Cleantech 25" by the Cleantech Group.

The APAC Cleantech 25 is an annual list of 25 private sector sustainable cleantech innovators in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) that are expected to have a significant impact over the next five to ten years.

The list is compiled by combining recommendations from various experts in the APAC Cleantech 25 with the Global Cleantech 100, a list trusted by cleantech stakeholders around the world, to select 25 companies that are rated outstanding in every respect. We were selected as one of the 25 companies that provide sustainable solutions in the "Agriculture & Food" industry. The selected companies will be honored at the Cleantech Forum Asia to be held in Singapore on May 7-8, 2024.

Since 2023, MHI has established a dedicated overseas office to promote joint development with companies and organizations around the world. We will use this selection as an opportunity to expand our business in Southeast Asian countries and aim to become a Global Cleantech Major originating from Japan.
