Re:soil" is a registered trademark of GS Alliance, a chemical company that conducts research and development based on the concept of replacing all petroleum-derived chemical products with those derived from natural biomass. The company has developed natural biomass biodegradable plastics, natural coating materials, and natural paints, and has applied these technologies to nail cosmetics.

Dr. Ryohei Mori, a GS Alliance member, has also developed and marketed the world's first water-based, adhesive nail polish with natural ingredients.
