Sho Aida wins the IFSC Para Climbing World Championships

Mitsui Sumitomo Aioi Life Insurance Co. (President: Shiro Kaji), a member of the MS&AD Insurance Group, participated in the World Championships (Bern, Switzerland) organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and won in the B1 class.

About Para-Climbing

Para-climbing is a climbing event for people with some kind of disability, and is divided into visual disability and physical disability, and further classified according to the degree of disability. There are three classes for the visually impaired (B1, B2, and B3) and seven classes for the physically impaired. Aida belongs to the B1 class, which is the most severe disability among the visually impaired.
