Hitoyoshi Kuma Cycling Club will hold a cycling event "Reconstruction! Japanese Heritage Cycling in Hitoyoshi Kuma 2023" will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Three years have passed since then, and cyclists will ride through the restored Hitoyoshi Kuma area. We hope that many people from inside and outside of the prefecture will join us and ride through Hitoyoshi Kuma in autumn, leading to new discoveries.

Reconstruction! Japanese Heritage Cycling in Hitoyoshi Kuma 2023

Event Summary

This is a point rally in which participants ride their bicycles around the spots registered in the "Hitoyoshi-Kuma Sightseeing App" as many times as possible within the time limit to earn points. There will be a chance to win prizes and giveaways depending on the number of points earned.

Participants are free to choose the order in which they visit the spots and which route they take.

Participants will be mailed a list of spots in advance so that they can carefully research the course and places to eat in advance, and enjoy the ride while discovering their favorite sightseeing spots and gourmet foods.

The courses are as follows

Japanese Heritage Course" that can be easily enjoyed by the whole family.

Mountain Course" for a full-fledged uphill experience. You can choose the course that suits you best.

Registration 8:00-8:30

Opening Ceremony 8:30-8:50

Cycling 9:00-16:00

There will be no closing ceremony. Prizes will be announced at a later date on the Kuma Cycle Center website.

The event will be held in case of light rain. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons, it will be posted on the Kuma Cycle Center website by noon on September 22 (Fri.), the day before the event.

Hitoyoshi Kuma is a region rich in nature where the Kuma River, one of the three most rapid rivers in Japan, flows through the center of a basin surrounded by the Kyushu Mountains.
