Landing in Osaka for the first time in a year! The largest-ever exhibition of new miniature art The World of Miniature Photography 2023 in Osaka" to be held from October 13 (Fri.)

BACON Corporation (BACON) will hold "The World of Miniature Photography Exhibition 2023 in Osaka" from October 13 (Fri.) to October 22 (Sun.), 2023, a joint exhibition of miniature photographs so elaborately made that they could be mistaken for the real thing, which has attracted over 250,000 visitors to date. This will be the first time in a year that the exhibition will be held in Osaka, and many new three-dimensional works of quintessential miniature art will be exhibited for the first time at the Osaka venue! Visitors can also experience workshops and other activities available only at the venue!

What is "The World of Miniature Photography Exhibition"?

Miniature models so elaborately made that they could be mistaken for the real thing. Each work is a condensed version of the artist's detailed worldview. Usually, most people think of a "miniature art exhibition" only as a display of miniature works, but this exhibition is much more elaborate and includes a display of photographic works at the same time. The artist creates miniatures of landscapes and objects that he or she wants to express, and then photographs and expresses these miniatures.

If models are long in time, photography is a momentary, once-in-a-lifetime art form. "If you look at it thinking it is a photograph, it is a fictional world that has been created." In this exhibition, we invite visitors to get lost in the world of miniatures by displaying both photographic and three-dimensional works at the same time. In addition, since photography is allowed throughout the museum, visitors can take pictures from various angles to capture and post their own one-of-a-kind photos on SNS.

The works on display at this exhibition have been redesigned based on new works so that those who have visited in the past can also enjoy them. In addition, the creators will provide explanations to help visitors enjoy the world of miniature art even more deeply. We hope you will enjoy the new view of the world more deeply. Many of the exhibiting artists are creators who have been showing their works on SNS, and a record 75 artists will participate in the exhibition!

Highlights include "Wai Wai Desk (@yuruyellow_desk)," whose 1/12 size miniature works are popular, showing miniature camping works made inside real rice containers and new works inspired by a Halloween sweets buffet, and "K.C. Factory (@fanlab. K.C.Factory (@fanlab. kokoro)" will exhibit a miniature three-dimensional work using an infinity mirror.

Both works are limited to the Osaka venue, so they are not to be missed!

As for sales, "studioblue (@studio_blue0318)" will be selling a limited number of miniature art works inspired by antique-style sundries and bookstores, and "Mainichi Gomahu (@gomahu5858)" will be selling a limited number of miniature sweets made by a seal. and many seasonal Halloween miniature limited edition goods will be available!
