Monolith Corporation (Niiza-shi, Saitama; CEO: Hideyuki Rikuda; hereafter "C.R.T. In Europe and the United States, people have been aware for several decades that polishing is an ecological floor finishing method that does not use solvents, but in Japan, where painted and pasted floor finishes are common, people are only now beginning to recognize polished finishes as a result of changes brought about by the SDGs.

Originally, C.R.T. World, a company that prepares painted and pasted floors for factories and warehouses, was inspired to promote the use of polished concrete floor finishes when it was necessary to rework a newly built concrete floor that had become uneven due to rain damage.
