Background of the First Concert of Japan Central Orchestra
In the Corona Disaster, we musicians were unable to do anything about it, and once again felt the social need to be in a position to provide musical performances. This will be the first professional orchestra performance in Saitama City, composed of cellist Yuki Taniya and his friends who agree with him, and who have such a strong desire to make the skills they have cultivated useful to others.
■About "The First Performance of Japan Central Orchestra
Partial proceeds from tickets and donations from this performance will enable the orchestra to perform for children who are forced to be hospitalized due to many illnesses. Even during the most eventful times of the year, children who are hospitalized must continue their treatment, unable to go anywhere without seeing healthy children. We would like to do our best to help lighten the hearts of these children. We would like to replace your support with an invitation to the next performance. This performance will feature "Chichester Psalms" by Leonard Bernstein, which is rarely performed in Japan, and will be joined by the local Urawa High School, Saitama Prefectural Urawa Daiichi Girls High School, and Tokorozawa City Boys and Girls Choir. Many of our musicians have never performed this piece before, but we hope that everyone will enjoy listening to this piece, and that it will become a familiar alternative to Beethoven's 9th Symphony in Japan in the future.
