NRS CORPORATION, a chemical logistics company, established a new general logistics site in Arizona, U.S.A. New comprehensive logistics site focusing on semiconductors and battery raw materials

NRS CORPORATION (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shingo Togi) will open a new comprehensive logistics site around November 2024 in the U.S. state of Arizona, which is growing into a semiconductor and battery cluster, in order to respond to the strong demand for chemical logistics in the United States.

This new site, located in Casa Grande in south-central Arizona, is a comprehensive logistics site that will provide a one-stop shop for our various logistics functions, focusing on semiconductor and battery raw materials for which demand is expected to grow. It is equipped with a hazardous materials warehouse for flammable and corrosive chemicals used in the manufacture of semiconductors and batteries, as well as a high-pressure gas storage facility. In addition, a pull-through line for rail transportation will be constructed at this base. This will enable a smooth modal shift of cargo arriving from the West Coast, providing flexible services to customers, enhancing access to domestic and overseas markets as a stock point, and contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions through environmentally friendly rail transportation.

NRS Group will continue to provide a wide range of one-stop logistics services from transportation, storage and delivery to ISO tank container leasing, in pursuit of supply chain optimization for our customers.
