Uehara is the president of HauskaRacing, an automobile racing team in Okinawa, Japan, First Japanese to Participate in Mexico's 24-Hour Endurance Race

Masato Uehara, a racing driver and representative of the HauskaRacing car racing team from Okinawa, Japan, has become the first Japanese driver to compete in the 24H Endurance Challenge +Challenge/0 held at the Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit in Mexico from December 11 (Monday) to 13 (Wednesday), 2023. We are pleased to report that we were able to finish the race despite some problems in the early stages, contributing to our 6th place (out of 22 cars) in class and 21st place (out of 88 cars) in the overall standings.

In September 2023, he participated in the NSHC/BMW cup in Sweden and finished on the podium in 3rd place.

In July of the same year, he participated in a 12-hour endurance race at Ebisu Circuit (Fukushima Prefecture) with other teams and finished the race, after practicing with driving sessions and racing simulators for inexperienced racers in Okinawa Prefecture as HauskaRacing.

Future Development

While competing in domestic races as HauskaRacing, the team will continue to aim to participate in overseas races as a "traveler racer.

One of our goals is to become the first team from Okinawa to compete in the world-famous "Nürburgring 24 Hour Race" in Germany, and we will continue to deepen our knowledge by participating in various categories around the world.

With the creed of "desire grows," we hope to be a team and driver that many people can relate to.
