LAC Adds Use of Generative AI Compass for Information Literacy Awareness: Compass for Information Use Version 2.0 is now available

LAC Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Itsuro Nishimoto, President; hereinafter referred to as "LAC") released the revised edition 2.0 of "Compass for Information Literacy Awareness: Compass for Information Use (hereinafter referred to as "Compass for Information Use")," a compilation of knowledge necessary to use ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and information media, on January 22, 2024. Since its release in March 2019, the "Compass for Information Literacy Awareness" has been supervised by researchers based on academic evidence and legal education perspectives, and the "Main Edition," "Reference Slide Collection," "Information Use Edition," and "Usage Guide" have been released and updated as needed, with a cumulative total of over 10,000 copies in the series. The series has been distributed in a cumulative total of more than 10,000 books (as of the end of December 2023).

The "Information Use" section, which was released in 2020, is a compilation focusing on how ICT and information media can be used in daily life, classified into six categories: "basic operation," "sending and sharing information," "playing," "learning and working," "selling and buying," and "making better use of ICT.
