Music life partner, a non-profit organization (Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, Representative Director: Yuko Nagai (Uchiyama)), will hold a concert to commemorate the establishment of our organization on March 31, 2024 (Sunday) at "Nagaoka Municipal Theater" in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.

■Established by Niigata Prefecture and musicians associated with Niigata Prefecture under the slogan "A world where music never ceases.

The pandemic that struck the world in the spring of 2020 will be deeply etched in your memories. Medical services were tightened, restaurants and retail stores were asked to close, the term "new lifestyle" was coined, and we musicians, among others, had to suspend most of our musical activities. Some musicians were forced to retire for three years before the new corona became a category 5 infection last May.

Even under such circumstances, we, the musicians' group "Vento di Musica" (organization), have continued to hold participatory mini-concerts for the citizens of Nagaoka and Niigata, "Let's Sing Energetically" and "Amigo Club" (organization), which attempts to fuse classical and rock music. We believe that these events have contributed, however slightly, to the mental and physical health of our concert-goers at the Corona Disaster. We believe in the power of music and will continue to share it through our activities as "Music life partners" under the slogan "A world where music never ceases.
