Tough machine with full security, AI-equipped stable modeling at an affordable price. Bambu Lab X1E 3D printer for personal use is now available!
February 7, 2024, Brule Inc. (located in Taito-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Clayton Morton, Representative in Japan; hereinafter "Brule") has launched Bambu Lab's state-of-the-art consumer 3D printer, the Bambu Lab X1E.
About Bambu Lab X1E
Bambu Lab X1E is a highly secure 3D printer that supports WPA2 enterprise certified Wi-Fi. It features an option to connect to devices via an Ethernet port to ensure reliable network communications. No cloud connection required, all functions are available via local network.
(1) Stable Ethernet connection, WPA2 enterprise certified Wi-Fi connection
The option to connect to devices via the newly added Ethernet port ensures reliable network communication.
The Ethernet connection can be used in environments where wireless signals are congested.
In addition, X1E supports WPA2 enterprise certified Wi-Fi (EAP-PEAP / EAP-TLS / TAP-TTLS) and features independent kill switches for both Wi-Fi and Ethernet to meet strict network security requirements.
(2) Provides full functionality even in LAN-only mode
X1E operates independently without connecting to Bambu Cloud Service, providing full functionality even within the local network.
Customers can control X1E remotely via LAN communication without an Internet connection.
(3) Effective filtration of generated particulates and volatile organic compounds
The combination of a G3 pre-filter, an H12 HEPA filter, and a high-quality coconut shell activated carbon filter effectively filters the air.
The enhanced filter reduces odors and particulates during printing in low ventilation environments.
(4) High-temperature nozzle supports high-performance materials
The higher nozzle temperature enables modeling of high-performance materials with excellent dimensional stability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties, such as PPA-CF/GF, PPS, and PPS-CF.
Reduces warpage of moldings and strengthens layer-to-layer bonding.
(5) X1E heats the chamber quickly and adjusts the temperature.
Precisely controlled chamber temperature (up to 60°C) improves build quality, especially for warp-prone filaments such as ABS and PC.
(6) High-speed and stable modeling
X1E constantly compensates for XY axis vibration and extrusion problems, thereby ensuring smooth build quality. All measurements are fully automatic, eliminating the need for any manual adjustments.
(7) Reduces 1 print failure and time spent interrupting modeling
X1E's AI algorithm, constantly monitored by the LiDAR (lidar) sensor and camera, can detect printing errors on the first layer and spaghetti-like printing errors. This allows the system to automatically pause if molding fails, preventing catastrophic failure.
(8) Enables multi-material modeling with automatic filament reloading and support materials for improved surface quality.
X1E can build with up to 16 spools of filament by connecting 4 Automatic Filament Management Systems (AMS) in parallel. This facilitates the use of specialized support materials for complex shapes and multi-color modeling.
The AMS system is also equipped with a function that automatically switches to the next spool when the filament runs out. This eliminates the need to interrupt modeling and improves production efficiency.
