TATE Corporation (Headquartered in Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Business: Killing and dance choreography company) has released visuals for its 2024 Spring Performance "12 Angry Last Samurai" to be held March 2 - 3, 2024 at the Musashino Performing Arts Theater.

TATE Inc. has adapted the well-known "12 Angry Last Samurai" into a unique "outrageous setting" in which samurai and celebrities from the final days of the Tokugawa shogunate clash with each other. That heated discussion will take place.

The production will be directed by Hiroki Imanishi (action director) and art directed by Aiko (dance supervisor), and will be a period drama filled with suspense, incorporating our popular "sword fighting" and "dance" content.

The core role of Takamori Saigo is played by Shun Yamamoto, who is also active as a voice actor, and the role of his opponent, Toshizo Hijikata, is played by Seria Hana, a former member of the Takarazuka Revue Company. In addition, many other famous people who played an active role in Japan's transition from the age of the samurai, such as Soji Okita, Yae Niijima, and Hirobumi Ito, also appear in the film.

The twelve characters alone are exciting to watch as they argue "guilty" or "not guilty" in each other's cases. We look forward to seeing how the historical background of the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate will play a role in the story.
