Vectology Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan; President: Yoshikazu Shinoda) announces the opening of its "Cloud Laboratory" in Hiroshima, Japan on February 21, 2024. Operations will commence on April 1, 2024.

■Background and Role

For many years, MFG has been developing technologies as a group of FPGA experts, and in order to promote business expansion into the Hardware as a Service (hereinafter referred to as "HaaS") domain in the future, we have established a new cloud development base in Hiroshima City. In addition to providing cloud services to existing customers, the Cloud Laboratory will launch a demonstration project for full-scale development of the HaaS business. We will also recruit partners and engineers in industry and academia for this purpose.

■Reasons for expansion into Hiroshima City

The recent construction of a Google data center in Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and the high affinity with the business domain we are aiming for, as well as the generous support of the local governments of Hiroshima Prefecture and Hiroshima City, were decisive factors in our decision to locate in Hiroshima City.
