There will also be a collaboration project with the City of Yokohama and the Yokohama DeNA Bay Stars!

Life-size "Moving Gundam

Since its opening in December 2020, GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (hereinafter referred to as "GFY"), which exhibits a life-size "moving Gundam," has been visited by more than 1.5 million people. (As of February 2024).

On March 31 (Sunday), the final day of the event, the regular event will end at 16:00 and GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA GRAND FINALE ~To the New Stage~ will be held from 19:00. The event will include a speech by Yoshiyuki Tomino, director of "Mobile Suit Gundam," a performance of the final start-up experiment in a situation that will continue the story of the opening event, an original drone art show with approximately 1,000 drones, and a fireworks display, which is planned to be the finale of GFY. The event will be a fitting finale to the GFY.

Tickets for the event, which will include the "1/144 RX-78F00 Gundam Grand Finale Ver." Gunpla, will be sold by lottery, and applications will be accepted on the special website from 1:00 p.m. on March 5 (Tue.).

Since its inception, GFY has staged life-size "moving Gundams" based on various songs, story settings, new poses, and movements, etc. From March 16 (Sat.) to 31 (Sun.), GFY will revive the past performances. Please check the official website for the detailed schedule.

On Saturday, March 2, a rock-paper-scissors tournament with a life-size "moving Gundam" will be held with the participation of visitors.

The popular "Moving Gundam" will be on display twice this year. This year, we will hold this event twice again. The winner will receive a special prize, the right to take a commemorative photo in an area that is normally inaccessible.
