The Largest Exhibition and Sale of Swords in Western Japan "Osaka Harujin Katanza 2024 Held again this year!

The Touza Executive Committee will hold "Osaka Haru no Jin Touza 2024" (supported by Sankei Shimbun), one of the largest exhibition and sales fairs of swords and sword accessories in Western Japan, on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Osaka Castle Hall Jomi Hall, where 45 sword dealers from all over Japan will gather at the foot of Osaka Castle.

Aiming to raise awareness and educate the public about the excellence of Japanese swords.

Most people think that special permission is required to own or purchase a Japanese sword, but any adult can purchase a sword with an official registration certificate (ID required). We are pleased to announce the second annual "Swordza" in order to promote awareness of the excellence of the Japanese sword.

About "Osaka Spring Sword Show 2024

The "Osaka Harujin Katanza 2024" will be held in Osaka Castle, where 45 sword dealers from all over Japan will gather to display and sell their wares in the cherry blossom season.

The event will feature swords, sword accessories, and samurai armors from all over the country, with a wide range of items on display and for sale, from the best priced to the most exquisite.

Last year's first event was a great success, with many visitors on both days.

Demonstration of Japanese Sword Craftsmanship by Japanese Sword Specialists

On the day of the event, there will be demonstrations by professional Japanese sword craftsmen, such as sharpeners and swordsmiths.

Please come and see the actual work of these craftsmen, which you would normally never be able to see.

(Demonstrations will be held irregularly during the exhibition period.)

Gambare Ishikawa! Noto Earthquake Donation Boxes

A donation box will be set up on the day of the exhibition for those affected by the Noto earthquake, and all donations will be donated to Ishikawa Prefecture after the exhibition.

We will purchase swords at home for cash at the venue on the day of the exhibition.

If you bring swords (with registration certificate) from your home to the venue on the day of the exhibition, we will assess them and purchase them at a high price. If you purchase a sword on the day of the event, the admission fee of 1,000 yen will be refunded. (For one owner only).
