■Planning Background

Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. has been implementing various measures to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hanshin Koshien Stadium on August 1, 2024. This time, we hope to bring a new angle to the history of Hanshin Koshien Stadium by using "words" to remind people of the stadium's history. By bringing together the power of 100 words, we hope that visitors will be able to share in the many histories of the 100 years of Hanshin Koshien Stadium.

Comment from Mr. Saito, Admission Ticket Manager, Hanshin Electric Railway Co.

I believe that there are as many dramas as there are people around the "words" introduced here, such as the excitement of singing Rokko Oroshi in the light stand or the tears of high school baseball players as they give their all to the game. The fact that Hanshin Koshien Stadium has reached the 100th anniversary of its opening is due to the support of many people.

We would be very honored if you could look back on your dramas through "words.

All of us at Hanshin Koshien Stadium look forward to welcoming you to our stadium for the next 100 years.

Comment from Keita Fujiwara, Creative Director, Omoshikigyo Kayak

When researching the Hanshin Koshien Stadium for our 100th anniversary PR project, we realized that there are many people, things, and events associated with "Koshien" and many "words" that have different meanings when associated with "Koshien," such as "demon.

I thought that by using such "words" as a starting point, not only those who are familiar with Koshien, but also those who are unfamiliar with its history could come into contact with its history, so I came up with a project with the output of a "dictionary.

On a personal note, I am very honored and deeply moved to think that I was able to contribute to a project commemorating the 100th anniversary of the history of Hanshin Koshien Stadium, which I have visited since I was a child because I am from Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
