Background of the Project

Ltd., represented by Mr. Mohelon, the author of Hikonyan, and we have been working on the publication of "Hikonyan Ehon" as the first step of the business alliance.

The picture book was completed in March 2024. From March 20 of the same month, the book was sold at some souvenir stores in Hikone City, Hikonyan's hometown, and "Here Shiga", an antenna store of Shiga Prefecture in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, as well as other stores. On the same day as the pre-sale, our company, the publisher, started selling the picture book on the crowdfunding site "CAMPFIRE" as "Hikonyan Ehon Project".

■About the crowdfunding

We want to make Hikone and Shiga more exciting with "Hikonyan Ehon" including the third volume (not sold yet, this is the first picture book book published), which was completed in 2023 last year as a digital version of the picture book! The project is now accepting donations until Sunday, May 19.

The gifts to be returned include "Hikonyan Ehon Original Postcard," a book autographed by Mr. Mohelon, "Mr. Mohelon will draw a portrait of the supporter" in which Mr. Mohelon draws a portrait of the supporter with his unique touch, "Mr. Mohelon will go to meet the supporter himself," and "Mr. Mohelon will visit the supporter in person. We have prepared premium gifts that cannot be experienced anywhere else, such as "Mr. Mohelon will draw a portrait of the supporter" and "Mr. Mohelon will visit the supporter directly" with the full cooperation of Hikonyan author Mr. Mohelon. (There is a limited number of each item.)

The picture books will be available in any combination of sets, from one book individually to two or three books, making them ideal as gifts.

The funds raised through this project will be used for publicity activities to promote the Hikonyan picture book, and we would like to focus on promoting the Hikonyan brand in Hikone City and Shiga Prefecture. We hope that Hikonyan fans from all over Japan will support this project.
