Nemuro City, Hokkaido - Nemuro Peninsula Pleasure Bus "Nosappu-go" Begins Operation! Runs every day from May 1 (Wed) to October 31 (Thu) (reservations required)!

Nemuro City Tourist Association is pleased to announce the start of Nosappu-go, a sightseeing bus service on the Nemuro Peninsula. The bus will be in service from May 1 (Wed) to October 31 (Thu), 2024, and will operate daily (reservations required).

Nosappu-go (1)

(1) Title: [Limited Time Only] Nemuro Peninsula Pleasure Bus "Nosappu-go" will be in service. (2) Period of operation: October 31, 2024 (Wed.) to October 31, 2024 (Thu.)

Attractions (1) Let's take the "Nosappu-go" for an efficient tour of the vast Nemuro Peninsula!

The Nemuro Peninsula, where Nemuro City is located, stretches approximately 100 km from east to west, and there are many attractive sightseeing spots throughout the peninsula. The "Nosappu" offers two courses, each with a tour guide.

＜Course A: Cape Nosappu

Course A: Nosappu Cape Course

This course takes you to four sightseeing spots, including Cape Nosappu, the easternmost cape on the mainland.

On a clear day, you can see the Northern Territories with the naked eye.

Course B: Kurumaseki and Furenko Course

You can visit 5 places including Kurumaishi, a natural monument, and the Northern Territories Exchange Center (Ni Ho Lo), and have lunch at "Roadside Station Swan 44 Nemuro" (lunch is included).

(Lunch is not included in the course.)

Please note that some contents may be subject to change due to facility closures.

　Roadside Station Swan 44 Nemuro" is closed on Mondays throughout the year.

Attraction (2) Ideal for learning about the Northern Territories issue

The "Nosappu-go" is a nickname, and its official name is the "Nemuro Peninsula Round Northern Territories Issue Awareness Bus. We hope that this bus will provide visitors with an opportunity to learn and think about the history of the Northern Territories (the Shimai Islands, Shikotan Islands, Kunashiri Island, and Etorofu Island), which are Japan's inherent territories.

Attraction (3) Convenient Public Transportation Connections

The arrival and departure times of the "Nosappu-go" are designed to connect with the JR Hanasaki Line. For example, you can arrive at Nemuro Station on the first JR train, take the "Nosappu-go" around the Nemuro Peninsula, and catch the JR train in the evening. You can also take a bus between Kushiro and Nemuro.
