About YUKAI RESORT PREMIUM Aounkaku

YUKAI RESORT PREMIUM Aounkaku is operated by YUKAI RESORT K.K., which operates 30 hot spring resort hotels mainly in western Japan.

Located in Awara Onsen, one of the best hot spring resorts in Fukui Prefecture and the focus area for the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension, the hotel has recently reopened as a premium type with enhanced restaurants and guest rooms.

Tokyo Odyssey Design

In designing Seiunkaku as a premium type hotel*, Tokyo Odyssey aimed to create a luxury hotel that offers a higher grade of luxury and experience, and at the same time, to create a design that is distinctively Fukui Prefecture.

The lobby and lounge depict the countryside of the Awara region, and the restaurant is inspired by the harvest festival that is a popular agricultural event.

We have also created a concept room and a kids' park for children to enjoy to the fullest, and other features to satisfy families.

*Premium type: A hotel that offers one of the best hot springs in Japan, higher-grade dining, and a full range of experiences.

The Awara region is blessed with a rich natural environment and is a region where vegetable and fruit tree production is flourishing.

To create the extraordinary atmosphere of a festival, lanterns are hung above the bar counter where food is lined up to express the liveliness and festivity of the event.

The entrance, which was designed in the style of a row-house gate before the renovation, remains as a landmark, creating a space with a sense of luxury and heightening the excitement leading up to the festival.

The lobby lounge, which makes a strong first impression, is decorated in the motif of the scenic "countryside" of the Awara region, creating a relaxing space in which you will be tempted to linger.

Large Public Bath/1F

The large bathroom is where you can fully enjoy Awara Onsen, one of the most famous hot springs in Fukui Prefecture.

Tatami mats are used for the flooring, so that even barefooted guests can walk around without any burden, and everyone from children to the elderly can use the bath safely and securely.

At the same time, it creates a space that exudes a sense of luxury.

These rooms are unique to Fukui Prefecture, which is also known as the "Dinosaur Kingdom.

Four different concepts have been set up: "sky," "jungle," "grassland," and "sea," with each room representing a completely different scene of dinosaurs.
