The Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs, Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold a PR event for Tokyo traditional crafts entitled "Traditional crafts of Tokyo WONDER SESSION -The Tokyo Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs will hold a PR event for Tokyo's traditional crafts at KITTE Marunouchi from June 15 (Sat.) to 19 (Wed.), 2024, under the title of "Traditional crafts of Tokyo WONDER SESSION.

In addition to the exhibition, demonstration, hands-on production and sales of traditional Tokyo crafts, a "Disaster Area Support Fair" will be held to exhibit and sell traditional crafts from the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. Please take this opportunity to see Japan's world-class traditional crafts.

In addition, we will hold a contest for elementary school students to submit designs of traditional crafts that they would like to use themselves if they had such a product! Design Contest for Traditional Crafts" is now open for elementary school students. The entries will be exhibited at the event to be held in November, and an award ceremony will be held. The work selected for the Tokyo Governor's Prize will actually be made by a traditional craftsman and presented to the winner at a later date. We look forward to receiving your entries.
