Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1962. After graduating from the Japan College of Welfare and Education, he worked in welfare-related publishing and gained experience as a caregiver at the Tokyo Metropolitan Kiyose Ryoen (residential facility for the severely physically handicapped) and the Kiyose City Welfare Center for the Handicapped (day service and short stay), etc. In 1984, he experienced care at a facility run by the late Mother Teresa of Kolkata, India, and had an opportunity to meet her. In 2000, when the long-term care insurance system was launched, he started his career as a care manager and has been in charge of about 450 elderly people. Currently, she is an active care manager at Startline Inc. Her main qualifications include chief care support specialist, industrial care manager level 3, and cat test beginner's level.

He is the chairman of the NPO "Koedo Fumiry".
