(Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koji Hanahara), which upholds the philosophy of "For the world and for people," is pleased to announce that Mr. Kengo Noguchi, former Vice Chairman of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, has been appointed as a special advisor to transform the company as a life solutions company and to strengthen its management structure.

Mr. Kengo Noguchi Biography

Born in 1962. After graduating from Keio University with a degree in Economics, he joined The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. After serving as Executive Officer and General Manager of Investment Finance Department and Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of Structured Finance Department, he was appointed as Managing Executive Officer in 2016, and then as Executive Advisor in 2024 after serving as Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board.

He has also served as a board member of a VC fund management company and a member of the investment committee of a private equity fund, where he led corporate support operations.

In 2019, he founded NES Corporation with the desire to create a society and culture that produces more venture companies and entrepreneurs, and became a director. In addition, he serves as a business advisor for venture companies and is a visiting professor at several universities.

These words came as a shock to me, as I had been working hard every day to help customers in need, and they were the reason why we changed our company name from Marks Real Estate to Marks Life in May 2024.
