PEACH COFFEE, a new coffee stand in Gumyoji, Yokohama PEACH COFFEE, a new coffee stand in Gumyoji, Yokohama, has started crowdfunding!

PEACH COFFEE" will open a permanent coffee stand in early August in collaboration with "Akinai Garden," which has been operating a share store in Hiromyoji, Yokohama.

The goal is to create a warm and special coffee stand that brings people together through coffee and accompanies them in their ordinary daily lives.

We will challenge this project through the crowdfunding platform CAMPFIRE.

Project Summary

PEACH COFFEE" is a coffee shop that carefully brews each cup of coffee using carefully selected specialty coffees in partnership with specialty coffee roasters throughout Japan under the theme of "coffee that is like fruit".

Up until now, we have been holding monthly pop-up stalls at the Akinai Garden, a shared store in the Hiromyoji shopping street in Yokohama, but now we are opening a new permanent coffee stand "PEACH COFFEE".

PEACH COFFEE aims to be a coffee stand

PEACH COFFEE aims to be a warm and special coffee stand where anyone can find a place in the community as a "coffee stand in the town" that is a part of the daily life of the community.

Akinai Garden will move to the second floor of the same building and open its doors to the community as an architectural design office. It will also offer a co-working space and workshops, proposing a new lifestyle that connects with people in the community.

In addition, there are share houses, ateliers, and galleries in the area around Gumyoji where artists and creators gather, and there are many attractive places in the area that are not yet known.

PEACH COFFEE will serve as a place where fresh information about the area can be gathered, and will also play the role of a "town information center" where the faces of local people can be seen.

Details of the crowdfunding campaign

Target amount: 1,000,000 yen

Period of application: Until July 31, 2024

Renovation work is underway with the aim of opening in August 2024.

The total construction cost is expected to be approximately 3,150,000 yen, and the crowdfunding support will be used for part of the cost.

About Gumyoji

Located in Minami-ku, Yokohama City, Komyoji is an area steeped in history and culture.

The area has developed around the oldest temple in Yokohama City, "Gumyoji," and the shopping district and rows of cherry blossom trees along the Oooka River are the charms of the community.
