I was born and raised in Kameyama Onsen, a regional hot spring resort in central Chiba Prefecture.

The introduction of service fees has been limited to hotels in the city and businesses with strong brands in rural areas, and it has been common knowledge that service fees have not been introduced to the nameless local onsen ryokan that provide excellent service "Omotenashi.

However, I doubt this common sense. I believe that now, local onsen ryokans and nameless local inns like ours, which are exhausted by labor shortages and provide heartfelt service that is never manualized, can invest the service fee they receive in further improving the service of their staff and return it to their guests.

We hope that this action will become a gospel for the tired local inns and inns in the rural areas of Nippon, which are suffering from labor shortages and skyrocketing prices, in a chain reaction.
