Tecks Inc. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Naoyasu Suzuki), a fabless manufacturer of industrial-use in-house products and OEM/ODM, will begin mass production of general-purpose arm64 computer boards compliant with the NPO AMATERAS (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yasuo Utsumi) standard from July 30, 2024 (Tuesday). (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yasuo Utsumi), a non-profit organization. The adopted SoC is the arm64 Cortex-A53 x 4 industrial SoC, which is an arm64 computer board for industrial use with RS1 manufactured by Digital Media Professional Corporation (hereinafter referred to as DMP, head office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President: Tatsuo Yamamoto). Board size 200mmx200mm Circuit design is by Tex Corporation and Kyocera Corporation (Head office: Kyoto, Japan; President: Hideo Tanimoto), artwork and simulation by Kyocera Corporation.
The specifications incorporate the opinions of a wide range of people, including engineers from industrial equipment manufacturers, teachers from technical colleges, elementary and junior high schools, and IT engineers, in efforts aimed at eliminating the dissatisfaction of general-purpose boards, compliance with NPO AMATERAS standards, and SoC industrial availability for Japanese manufacturers, among others.

Features
Two types of M.2 connectors
M.2 SATA (6Gbps), M.2 NVMe (5Gbps) Two SSDs of 1TB or more can be installed
NVMe can also be used as a PCIe 4Lane, enabling the use of PCIe devices such as the popular AI chip HAILO-8.
The M.2 x 2 allows for simultaneous use of 6Gbps high-speed M.2 SATA SSD storage on NVMe sockets while running PCIe-standard AI chips and FPGAs, enabling file access at speeds 10 times faster than SD cards.
Specifically, while running NVMe FPGA modules such as NLFX1006 or the popular AI module HAILO-8, input data and result files can be recorded on the high-speed SATA SSD storage.
It is equipped with an external power supply connector (PH4 pin) for industrial applications and robot contests.
The source code, environment, and procedures are made available to the public through a dedicated Git server through the efforts of the NPO AMATERAS.
The software is licensed under the MIT License.
Companies that wish to use the software for commercial purposes are required to pay the NPO AMATERAS supporting membership fee (50,000 yen/year).
■About DRAM size
RS1 is equipped with 2Gbyte high-speed LPDDR4 SDRAM in the package and creates SWAP files on a high-speed M.2 SATA SSD with 6Gbps connection, achieving speeds comparable to products with large memory capacity.

RS1 is a Japanese-made 3D graphics SoC (semiconductor) developed by DMP. It is a SoC with long-term stable supply, high reliability and durability required for industrial equipment.
