The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (operated by Tateyama Kurobe Kanko Co., Ltd., headquartered in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture), one of the world's leading mountain tourism routes connecting Toyama and Nagano Prefectures, will hold a series of events from September 1, 2024 (Sunday) to coincide with the autumn leaf color season, which starts earlier in September, to let visitors enjoy the charm of autumn in Tateyama Kurobe while enjoying arts and gourmet foods. The events will be held sequentially from September 1 (Sun.), 2024. The "Autumn Early Bird discount 10" tickets are also available on the website to enjoy the autumn foliage season at a discount price.

Enjoy the autumn foliage that lasts for two months only at the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route offers a wide variety of autumn foliage spots at elevations of 2,000 meters, so you can enjoy the best of autumn colors at any one of the spots during the two months from September to November. In addition, visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery simply by taking a vehicle, without the need for strenuous mountain climbing.

Minna no Music & Arts Festival "Koshinaka Sue Taiko Trial Session

What is the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route?

A mountain tourism route in the Chubu-Sangaku National Park, Tateyama. Between Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture and Ogisawa in Nagano Prefecture, visitors can easily enjoy the spectacular seasonal scenery by taking various vehicles such as the Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus, the only trolleybus currently in operation in Japan, and the Tateyama Ropeway, which offers a 360 degree panoramic view.
