(Location: Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture; Representative: Naoto Furuki) has launched a crowdfunding project "It's like a zoo! to repurpose the oldest log house in the Tokai region, which has been used as a hunting base, into a rental villa surrounded by rich nature! ■To operate the rental villa "MISAKUBO 892.8"

Built in 1994 for the first time in the Tokai region, the log house in Misakubo Town, Hamamatsu City, has been used as a hunting base. The building is surrounded by the rich nature of the Southern Alps, and on clear days, visitors can enjoy a star-filled sky.

In the future, we aim to repurpose the property as a rental villa offering the ultimate in relaxation by adding a new open-air bath with free-flowing spring water from the Southern Alps.

The log house is located at an altitude of 892.8 meters, about 30 minutes by car from the town of Misakubo on a forest road, and is fully equipped with electricity, gas, and running water. Another attraction is the luxury of being able to use spring water from the Southern Alps, which is free-flowing.

The plan is to build a new open-air bath using this spring water, and to create an environment where visitors can enjoy the ultimate in relaxation in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The log house will be called "MISAKUBO 892.8" and will be jointly operated by BMF Co., Ltd. and Unno Inc.

■Reclaiming a former hunting base as a rental villa

This project was launched to repurpose a log house that was once used as a hunting base.

When the former owner, a hunter, decided to retire and approached us to take over the log house, we were able to hear his story about hunting and the beautiful natural environment of Misakubo, to which he had devoted half of his life. Through those stories, we were deeply impressed by this wonderful environment and strongly felt that we wanted many people to experience this place.

Therefore, we are preparing to repurpose the log house as a rental villa, with the aim of providing an extremely relaxing space surrounded by the rich nature of the Southern Alps.

Through this project, we hope to convey the charm of Misakubo to as many people as possible and contribute to the revitalization of the region.

Turning a hunting base into a rental villa

■New construction of open-air baths

The funds raised through this crowdfunding will be used to pay for the construction of a new open-air bath and to repair the aging parts of the house.

A new open-air bath using spring water from the Southern Alps will be built beside the log house, with the aim of providing visitors with the ultimate in relaxation in nature. In addition, the 30-year-old log house is planned to be repaired in order to create a more comfortable and safer living environment by repairing the water, roof, walls, terrace, and other deteriorated parts of the house.
