Prior to the launch of the service, the company announced on September 9, 2012, that it will launch "Online Animal Hospital Talkvets" on October 10, 2012. Ahead of the service launch, a crowdfunding campaign has been underway since September 9 (Mon.), and supporters are now being sought.

Background

The "Online Animal Hospital Talkvets" service was launched on October 10, 2024, to address problems such as the inability to receive necessary medical examinations, such as long waits for a five minutes consultation  or not receiving a thorough examination, the lack of places for consultation at night or on holidays, disparities in the quality of local medical care, and the difficulty of obtaining a second opinion. The service aims to solve these problems by providing an online consultation service in which veterinarians act as a relay point between patients and hospitals, providing triage and guidance.

Features of the service

Online Triage

It is possible to consult with a veterinarian about the necessity of a medical examination from home via video call. Even if you keep an eye on your pet at home, you will be advised on the guidelines for medical examinations, which will be useful for you to make adjustments to your work schedule.

Providing Second Opinions

Until now, in order to get an opinion from another veterinarian, you had to take your pet to a different hospital, which was a burden on both pet owners and pets.

Hospital Selection Advisor

Using our own hospital map, veterinarians will help you choose the best hospital from a specialist's point of view, taking into consideration your location as well as information on hospitals that are open at night and what kind of hospital is best suited for your pet's current symptoms.
