Zusi Dance Studio Ales (Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative: Sayaka Sekino) is pleased to present the "YOKOHAMA Arts SHOW collection vol. 1," an arts festival of the new era, featuring collaborative works produced by dancers, musicians, singers, designers, creators, models, and other artists from a wide range of genres. YOKOHAMA Arts SHOW collection vol.1" will be held at Momiji-zaka Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on October 13, 2024 (Sunday).
In addition, 100 kids dancers will perform "Nihon mukashi banashi," a traditional Japanese storytelling show that uses swords, fans, and Japanese umbrellas to express the spirit of the Japanese people and the important lessons that are engraved in their hearts through music and dance.

~The performance will express traditional Japanese performing arts by combining dance with visual images and music.
This is the world's first attempt at a performance in which kids dancers will express themselves as "Japanese old fairy tale" with sword and fan performance in the dance.

The performance will pick up 12 stories such as "Tanabata Monogatari," "Taketori Monogatari," "The Tale of Genji," and "Tsuru no Ongyo" to express the spirit and important lessons that are deeply rooted in the Japanese people.
Created with completely original videos, about 100 dancers, mostly children, will perform each story.

Arts Creater: Sayaka Sekino
35 years of dance experience, 20 years of teaching experience
She started baton twirling at the age of 3, won a national championship and placed 5th in a world competition, and studied classical ballet from the age of 5 and jazz dance from the age of 16. She moved to Tokyo when she entered university and studied dance abroad in New York, and while working for avex, she was involved in a wide range of entertainment activities, including modeling, fashion shows, and stage choreography. In college, she majored in sports medicine and dance kinesiology, learning theoretical body movement.
In 2007, she was a regular performer in a musical show in Las Vegas and performed a solo dance escorting Sayaka Kanda for the promotion of the release of Disney's "Anna and the Snow Queen" movie.
In 2015, she founded Zusi Dance Studio Ales.
Exclusive dancer for ISDC UN Washington in 2019 and won two titles at the Mrs Global Universe World Championships in 2023.
She also specializes in creative performances in Japanese costumes using sword fighting, Japanese umbrella, fan, etc., and is currently working on communicating Japanese culture to overseas audiences. She has been requested to teach dance choreography utilizing her unique world view, creative works in kimono, and special skills, and has become an instructor who has been requested to teach private lessons throughout Japan and overseas in 2024.
