Yamatoya Corporation (CEO: Satoshi Hirayu), a coffee manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, has collaborated with a Gunma sake brewery to offer a unique Gunma coffee called "SAKE Coffee Daibai," available in limited quantities from October 1 (Tuesday), which is "Coffee Day" and "Sake Day. The green coffee beans are soaked in sake and roasted to give the coffee a new taste with the aroma of sake.

(President: Kenjiro Makino, hereafter "Makino Sake Brewery"), the oldest sake brewery in Gunma Prefecture, located in Kurabuchi-cho, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, to develop this time, and "SAKE Coffee Daibai" was completed in collaboration with companies in Takasaki.

Makino Sake Brewery has won the top prize (first place) at the Kanto Shinetsu Regional Taxation Bureau's sake competition, and Yamatoya has a coffee connoisseur certified by the Santos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil. The sake and coffee professionals jointly developed this product.

We asked "Gunma SAKE TSUGU," which promotes the appeal of Gunma's local sake and is well versed in the charms of Gunma's local sake and breweries, to coordinate the product development, incorporating opinions from a third party's perspective. 4.

After much trial and error, an original blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan coffee was created to match the flavor of the special junmai sake "Ohbai. The result is a perfect fusion of Gunma's local sake "Ohbai" and coffee, SAKE Coffee.

SAKE Coffee" started as an idea of Satoshi Hirayu, President of Yamatoya, who wanted to enjoy coffee unique to Gunma.

This second project was started with an idea to collaborate with Makino Sake Brewery, which was founded in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, just like Yamatoya, in order to enliven the local community.

We were pleased to work with Mr. Makino, the president of Makino Shuzo, who gave us his opinions on aroma, taste, and other aspects of the product from a new perspective unique to a brewery.

The result is a fusion of "Ohbai" and "coffee," with a gorgeous aroma and fruity acidity, and a deep harmony between the taste of Ohbai and the richness of coffee, a SAKE coffee that both companies agree is a perfect match. We consider this a good opportunity to enjoy this coffee for those who like coffee, as well as for those who like sake.

In addition, on October 4 (Fri.), a one-night-only event to enjoy Gunma's local sake and coffee, "Enjoying SAKE and Coffee on a Long Autumn Night," will be held to commemorate the release of the product. (Attachment)
