Actress Kokoro Okuda and RyK's unit Blue Purple "Stay" Music Video Production Support Project Started crowdfunding

The music video "Stay" by Blue Purple, a unit consisting of the director, Nobuyoshi Kurashima, and the actresses Kokoro Okuda and RyK, is now available on MotionGallery to raise funds for its production. MotionGallery has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the production of the video.

Theme "Lesbian

The protagonist of this work is Suzu, who loves her unforgettable childhood friend Rin. She is going abroad to receive recognition from the world for her dance. Before long, she turns from a student to an adult and is unable to see Rin for a while. One day, Rin's own child, Satsuki, appears and they meet a few days after her beloved Rin dies in a plane crash. Her own child gives her a memorable photo with a message from Rin, and their past love comes back to life.

The film was planned from the ground up by director Kurashima Shinkichi, who also serves as producer, cinematographer, and editor. The cast includes Suzuka Ueno, Seika Kusano, and Fuka Kakiki, all of whom are talented actors. The project began in August, and filming was completed in September, with a screening scheduled for March 2025 at United Cinemas in Tokyo and its suburbs, including a stage greeting by the cast.

Director Kurashima's wish/theme: Lesbian x Trusting Love

What kind of environment are you in now as you run through your life?

The way we live our lives is different from each other, and "encounters with people," "what we see," and "how we touch each other" are never the same. It is through the sharing of unknown worlds, through the attraction of unknown personalities to each other, that love of favor and trust is born.

We should not be afraid of love between two people of the same sex, and we should keep the relationship of mutual love as a trusting partner.

Everyone has only one life, and we want everyone to cherish each day and each moment with those who are by their side.

It is with these thoughts in mind that the staff and cast of STAY will work together to create this music video.

Made her film debut playing the role of Mayumi Kudo, the younger sister of the heroine played by Masumi Arimura, in "Birigyaru the Movie" released in May 2015. In August of the same year, after auditioning for the role, she made her stage debut and played the lead role for the first time in "Kodomo no Toys," a stage production commemorating the 60th anniversary of Ribbon.

On July 31, 2023, she made her debut as a vocalist in the music unit "Blue Purple" and released her first album on March 27, 2024. On May 1 of the same year, RyK also started his career as a solo artist in parallel with BluePurple, releasing a single for distribution.
