The Chronicles of Neverland" (Chronicles of Neverland)

Synopsis

A mystery writer, Yamanashi, writes a fantasy novel in his hospital room. It is "The Chronicles of Neverland", a story about a young apprentice wizard girl, Hinata, set in the fictional land of Neverland.

One day, a girl escapes into a hospital room while the story is not progressing well. She is Ren, an imaginary girl who has lost hope for life and sneaks in to steal sleeping pills. She and Yamanashi hit it off and decide to help her with her novel in exchange for sleeping pills... There are only three months left until the deadline. The story of Hinata, who grows old one chapter at a time. When the final chapter comes, a surprising truth hidden in this story emerges. The passion for life that Yamanashi has put into her novel drives Ren, who has lost all hope for life, onward. A sad fantasy musical where reality and fiction intersect in a world of hospital rooms and magic. The weight of life and the preciousness of living with purpose are carefully spun through dynamic dance and gentle melodies.
