USP Japan Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Kenichi Niitsu) will offer a tour that combines a special viewing of one of the world's rarest rockets with special places, people, and experiences unique to the region through travel agencies.

This tour is an adopted project of the Japan Tourism Agency's "Project for Expanding Inbound Consumption and Improving Quality by Offering Special Experiences".

The three-day tour is a combination of "space and rocket experiences" and "experiences related to world heritage, national parks, and cultural heritage" in Kushimoto, Nachikatsuura, and Kozagawa Towns in Wakayama Prefecture. The three-day luxury special experience in Kumano, a sacred place, includes a launch observation from a cruise ship and three other courses, a special goma prayer for a successful rocket launch to space at a World Heritage temple, a special food and video party at "Ittaiwa," a national natural monument and scenic spot, and dinner at a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant. This is a high value-added tour that combines the experience of building and launching a rocket with a realistic structure that can be enjoyed even when the rocket is not launched (space) with the world-class local resources and nighttime (Kumano, a sacred place), aiming for a continuous sales system for 20 to 30 rocket launches per year. Three courses are available for this tour. The Kairos Rocket Launch Viewing Tour offers three different courses, each of which offers three special viewing locations from which you can watch the launch.

This is a cruise experience aboard the specially chartered Kairos 2.

The view from the sea is the closest you can get to the white smoke from the engine and the powerful roar of the rocket, and you can enjoy a close-up look at the entire rocket.

Fudarakusan-ji Temple is a World Heritage Site in the Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range. This temple, which once aimed for the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, will hold a prayer meeting for the successful launch of a rocket to space.

The chief priest will explain the connection between Kumano, a sacred place, and the universe. After a special viewing of the "Sanbou 11-faced, 1,000-armed, 1,000-eye Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva," which is not usually open to the public, a goma prayer session will be held.

The gate will be opened at night exclusively for this tour, providing a rare opportunity to connect history and the future.

(2) Exclusive viewing of the natural monument "monolith" (special dinner and launch video party at the scenic spot "monolith")

On the night of the launch viewing, a special dinner and video party will be held at "Ichimaiwa," a national natural monument and scenic spot.

You will have exclusive access to the huge rock 100 meters high and 400 meters wide, which was created by one of the largest volcanic eruptions on earth. A chef from a popular local restaurant will be invited to serve a dynamic dinner, and a rock monolith will be used as a screen to show a video of a rocket launch.

This tour offers a special evening to reflect on an inspiring day in the overwhelming wilderness of giant rocks, bonfires, and starry skies, exclusively for this tour.

(3) You too can take to the sky! Experience the making and launching of a rocket!

On the day after the rocket viewing, you will also experience rocket launching. All participants will build and launch their own rocket.

You will learn about the mechanism of flight from a certified rocket guide while having fun.

After that, they will load solid fuel into the popular American-made model rocket "Alpha 3", build a rocket with the same mechanism as the real thing, and launch it with their own hands into the sky at about 100 meters.
