North Paradise has concluded a franchise agreement with North Paradise, a limited liability company based in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido (Head office: 1019-12, Minami 6-jo Nishi 9-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo; Representative: Kana Ouchi), and will open its first Chitose branch on October 30, 2024 (Wednesday) at 937-2 Aobaoka, Chitose City (〒066-0014). Produced by the food consulting group "hanninmae," this will be the 16th "Milked Drake" restaurant in Japan (7 in Hokkaido and 9 outside of Hokkaido).

The regular menu includes "Salted Caramel" for 360 yen, available only at the Chitose store. Fresh cream from Hokkaido is blended with a mildly sweet, bittersweet caramel powder. Salt made from French seawater is used as a secret ingredient to perfectly reproduce salted caramel in these doughnuts.

The brand uses raw milk from Sapporo Agent Farm, a farm in Mibuka-cho, Hokkaido, which also has a training function, with the goal of contributing to the development of Hokkaido's primary industry and the creation of a sixth industry. We also form alliances with other companies in Hokkaido to realize integrated production, processing, and sales. This enables us to provide products that are cheaper, faster, and fresher. Since we can see the face of our customers from production to sales, everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy Milk de Drake's fresh doughnuts with peace of mind and safety.

About "Milked Drake

The first store in Hokkaido specializing in fresh doughnuts opened in Sapporo on February 14, 2023, and has been featured in the media and on social networking services, drawing lines of customers every day.

Unlike conventional doughnuts, "raw doughnuts" have a texture that disappears in the mouth and is so soft that it seems to fall apart when held in the hand. The doughnut's round shape is so cute that many people are posting it on social networking sites, making it a trendy sweet in Hokkaido.

Milked Drake's raw doughnuts feature a moist and smooth dough made mainly from flour from Tokachi, Hokkaido's magnificent land, with plenty of eggs and butter. Pasteurized milk raised on a dairy farm in Mibuka-cho, Hokkaido, which does not use preservatives or other preservatives, gives the doughnut a rich, sweet taste. The cream is made from fresh milk from the Nekushiro region of Hokkaido, and various flavors of cream are prepared based on the rich fresh cream. The outside is fried crispy and the inside melts in the mouth like fresh cream. About 10 flavors are available, including homemade custard, chocolate, mixed sugar, and seasonal products.
