We are looking for challengers to "zenkokutaikai", who has won the first Famista tournament 29 times in a row.
初代ファミスタ東京大会・名古屋大会・大阪大会 運営委員会
The steering committee for the first Famista Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka tournaments has decided to adopt a common rating system for the Nagoya tournament, following the Tokyo and Osaka tournaments, so that the players can use objective indicators to determine their abilities. As a commemorative project, we will be inviting challengers under the special rules for a limited period of time with "National Tournament", the current top-ranked player in the rating order and the 29th consecutive winner of the tournament. We would also like to announce that the results of the Osaka tournament held on October 13, 2024 have been reflected in the ratings.
Aim of the introduction of common ratings
Ratings are a system for calculating an indicator of a player's ability, and the Iro rating system is used. By introducing a common objective indicator in the regions where the first generation Famista tournaments are regularly held, it is now possible to determine nationwide rankings.
2. Timing of introduction
The common rating is calculated based on the results of the Osaka Tournament on September 15 and the Tokyo Tournament on September 22. This time, the results of the Osaka tournament held on October 13 are also reflected in the data.
3. Current Ratings (Top 10)
The ratings will also be applied to the upcoming tournaments in Tokyo on October 26 (Sat) and November 30 (Sat), and Osaka on November 17 (Sun) and December 15 (Sun).

5. "National Tournament" comment
I accept the challenge from Famista warriors from all over the country with the pride of being the top-ranked player in the rating order. As a proof of victory, please come and take away our trademark "Hachimaki" embroidered with "Invincible for 36 years".
Comment from the rating administrator (Famista Tokyo)
I would like to play against someone who is stronger than me, or I would like to know how good I am in the whole country. We welcome people who have not played for a long time and who think "Famista is the best".
We are looking forward to your participation.
We would be happy if this gathering of Famicom enthusiasts could become a "third place" for adults to play the original Famicom.
We have created an opportunity to challenge the top rated "National Tournament" player, the winner of the National Tournament. Please beat him seriously, not by borrowing his chest.
