Akita Prefecture and JR Akita Branch to Hold Akita Prefecture and JR Akita Branch will hold "Akita Prefecture Winter Tourism Campaign" from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025! from December 1, 2024 (Sun.) to February 28, 2025 (Fri.)!

Akita Prefecture and the Akita Branch of East Japan Railway Company will hold a major winter tourism campaign in Akita Prefecture from December 1, 2024 (Sunday) to February 28, 2025 (Friday), entitled "Who to Go with? Akita in Winter" ("Campaign") from December 1, 2024 (Sunday) to February 28, 2025 (Friday).

The Campaign will be developed to help visitors rediscover the charms of Akita in winter through special experiences unique to Akita with the keywords of "Onsen (hot springs)," "Food and Sake," "Small New Year's Events," and "Snow.

We look forward to welcoming you to Akita through our website, information dissemination through various media, and more than 500 special events in cooperation with businesses in the prefecture.
