Saitama Arena Co. (8 Shintoshin, Chuo-ku, Saitama City; President: Hirotsugu Mikami) will hold the 25th "Keyaki-hiroba Illumination 2024-25" from November 9, 2024 (Saturday) to January 26, 2025 (Sunday), a winter event in Saitama Shintoshin. The illumination will be held from November 9, 2024 to January 26, 2025.

This year, under the title of "Blessing Forest - Symphony of Blessing Sound and Light," the illumination will be presented in an ingenious combination of sound effects and light movement. As you exit Saitama-shintoshin Station, turn left and go through the welcome gate at the entrance, you will see approximately 150 zelkova trees illuminated with approximately 200,000 LED bulbs, mainly blue, and be transported into a fantasy world.

Overhead curtain lights are scattered along the pathway leading to the Saitama Super Arena and the restaurants and stores of Keyaki Hiroba, illuminating everyone who passes by. On the tree-lined avenue leading to the lawn, a "Symphony of Blessed Sound and Light" (*) will delight everyone's heart.

The symphony will be performed once every 15 minutes for about 2 minutes between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The timing of the performance is subject to change depending on the event.

Passing through the tree-lined avenue, you will arrive at the lawn plaza. During the daytime, the lawn is an art floor where children can enjoy playing, and a glowing stave will appear overhead. And at the photo spot in the lawn, you can play music by reading the 2D code. (Playback type: MP4) You can enjoy the afterglow at home along with the images and videos.

As you descend the escalator, lured by the shining curtain lights, you will see a dazzling illumination with a variety of images. While your eyes are drawn up to the music notes above your head, you can enjoy the various images on all sides. The official character of Saitama Super Arena, "Tamarin," will also make an appearance.

What kind of space will be spread out... you will have to wait and see.

On November 9 (Sat.), the first day of the lighting, Sakiko Matsui, a former AKB48 member and pianist, will be the guest performer for the lighting ceremony and a special talk show and piano live performance.

＜Profile of Special Guest Sakiko Matsui

Born in Warabi City, Saitama Prefecture, Matsui graduated from AKB48 in August 2015, and has been active in a variety of activities through the piano, including her solo debut in 2012 with the all-piano instrumental (no singing) album "Breathing Piano" and winning a total of 5 competitions in the piano division of Fuji Television's "Entertainment World Special Skill Championship TEPPEN. She has been a member of the Warabi City PR team since September 2015.

In September 2015, she was appointed PR ambassador for Warabi City, and in March 2016, she joined the Saitama Cheering Squad (nicknamed "Kobaton Club"), which promotes the charms of Saitama Prefecture throughout the country.

He has appeared as a regular MC on TV Saitama's "Ima Dokkitto! Saitama" as a regular MC.
