In order to realize a carbon neutral society by 2050, GHG (greenhouse gas) reduction is becoming an urgent issue not only for large companies but also for start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Nagoya Institute of Industrial Science and Technology Chubu TLO, utilizing its experience and functions as an industry-academia collaboration and technology transfer support organization, will not only disseminate information and raise awareness of GX (Green Transformation) and calculate GHG, but also provide support for GX-related subsidies and grant projects, as well as provide decarbonization management services using university seed technologies. We aim to contribute to regional GHG reductions and sustainable industrial development by supporting decarbonization management that goes beyond carbon negatives.

Chubu TLO has obtained the Ministry of the Environment's certification as an advanced decarbonization advisor, and is cooperating with various partner organizations to help companies "measure" and "reduce" GHG emissions, including "knowing" GHG emissions, We support companies to "measure" and "reduce" GHG emissions in cooperation with various partner organizations.

GX education and information dissemination

We provide a wide range of information on the significance of carbon neutrality and decarbonized management, as well as domestic and international trends and policies. We also visit companies and universities to provide education and training in order to develop GX human resources.

GHG Calculation

Startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be strongly requested by their business partners to calculate and reduce GHG emissions under SCOPE 1 and SCOPE 2.

We will support detailed GHG calculations in cooperation with partner organizations to understand the current GHG status of the company and to acquire SBT to further improve corporate value.

Financing

GX-related initiatives require investment. Therefore, we support the acquisition of funds through subsidies and grant programs. For startups, in order to lower the hurdle for obtaining funding not only from the government but also from venture capitalists, we will help them plan challenging research projects related to GX, and for SMEs, we will guide them to grant and subsidy projects where they can utilize their strengths and support their business plans.
