Masaki Akiyama, oil painter and exclusive artist for aQ-studio, Inc. designed the "Fuku-Ebis" can.
Design Concept
The "Fuku-Evis" can depicts a majestic Mt. Fuji and a pretty plum flower, symbolizing good luck during the year-end and New Year holidays.
Akiyama's strong touch and vivid colors are combined to create a work full of life. Through this design, we express the coming of the New Year, which is full of splendor and hope.
Comment from Masaki Akiyama
I am very honored that my work was chosen for the year-end and New Year's edition of "Fuku-Ebisu," a familiar Evisu beer from long ago. I put my own expression into the motif of Mount Fuji and plum blossoms. I hope you will pick up the powerful design and enjoy it. I am also happy that the spotlight has been placed on Kanazawa and Hokuriku, where I am based, and I would like to continue to show the world the appeal of local artists."
