Ski season has arrived! Orahant Snow Park, the highest peak in Hiroshima Prefecture 　Slopes open on December 14, 2024!

OHRAKAN Co. (Head office: Akita-machi, Yamagata-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Yasuo Kawamoto) opened its ski resort, Orahan Snow Park, on December 14, 2024. Since last season, the park has added more snowfall machines and snow presses. We will provide slopes that our customers can enjoy even more.

Ohorahan Snow Park, located in the 860m to 1,280m elevation zone of Mount Ohorahan (1,346m elevation), the highest peak in Hiroshima Prefecture, is famous as a popular ski resort visited by many skiers and snowboarders from Kyushu and Shikoku as well as the Chugoku region. It is also widely known among Hiroshima residents as the birthplace of skiing in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Orahan Snow Park is aggressively adding facilities every year for the enjoyment of its guests. This season, two snowfall machines and one pressure snowmobile were added to further improve slope conditions. With a total of 23 snowfall machines and 6 pressure trucks, we will provide an environment where guests can enjoy skiing and snowboarding even more.

In addition to the slope environment, events will be held throughout the season, such as the opening event, Setsubun Festival, Valentine's Day, and Osorahan Cup. We are prepared to offer various aspects of enjoyment to our many guests.

The 2024-2025 opening is scheduled until late March 2025. Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
