Cinema Novecento, Japan's smallest film cinema operated by Cinema Novecento Corporation (Location: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), will hold a screening event of the Japanese dubbed version of the Japanese Hollywood action film "Karajishi Mask/LION-GIRL", talk shows, autograph sessions and photo sessions with the director and voice cast guests will be held on January 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.), 2025.

Kurando Mitsutake, a talented filmmaker who relocated from the U.S. to Japan, shot the violent action film "LION-GIRL" on location in the U.S., using the Corona Disaster as his base of operations.

With the original idea by master filmmaker Go Nagai, whom he admires, he has created a powerful work that could be called a Mad Max in Japanese style.

In this two-day event celebrating the first anniversary of the film's release, in addition to a screening of the dubbed Japanese version with a star-studded cast of voice actors, director Kurando Mitsutake, voice actress Rika Matsumoto, who served as sound director for the dubbed Japanese version and also made a special appearance, and Emi Nitta, who voiced the character Mayumi, will be invited as daily guests to discuss the behind-the-scenes production of the dubbed Japanese version to the fullest. The talk show will be held on the 25th and 26th, and an autographing session will be held on the 25th.

There will also be an autograph session (on the 25th, Rika Matsumoto will sign postcards for those who purchase her essay collection "Rough & Peace". On the 26th, general attendees can sign one item, and those attending the reception can sign two items), a photo session, and a New Year's party with the guests (on the 26th, only for Director Mitsutake; additional fee is required)!
