Shinagawa Aquarium (Shinagawa, Tokyo; Director: Takeshi Futami) will hold "Shinagawa Aquarium New Year 2025" from December 28, 2024 (Saturday) to January 13, 2025 (Monday, national holiday) to celebrate the New Year with various New Year's themed events.

A special exhibit will feature fish associated with the year of the snake, the Chinese zodiac sign for the year 2025. In addition, each popular show will be held in a New Year's version unique to this time of year, including the "New Year's Seal Show," in which visitors can try their luck for the New Year with a fortune box held by a seal. Please enjoy the Shinagawa Aquarium with a variety of New Year's-only events. (*The New Year's version of each show will be held from January 2 to 6, 2025.)

Chinese Zodiac Tank

In honor of the year of the snake, the Chinese zodiac sign for 2025, a "striped sea snake," which looks like a snake, will be exhibited.

Location: 1st floor of the museum, near the entrance of the aquarium
