Development Background

Currently, even professional Shogi players cannot beat AI.

This is because the rules of Shogi are fixed, and the AI has already learned how to win according to the initial placement and movement of pieces and the range of coordinates on the board.

Therefore, we have developed "Dinosaur Shogi," an extension of the existing Shogi with the added fun of creating new strategies and tactics.

Features

Dinosaur Shogi" is a new version of the existing Shogi game, which has 8 dinosaur pieces for each side and obstacles (walls, pillars, lakes, etc.) to allow players to change their strategies and tactics.

Dinosaur pieces can move in different directions and distances depending on their characteristics, such as Tyrannosaurus, Pteranodon, etc.

The rules, including the obstacles on the board, are roughly explained as follows

Walls block vertical or horizontal sides

Pillars block diagonals

Seas, mountains, lakes and rivers cannot be occupied

Dinosaurs cannot be driven in.

No dinosaurs in the enemy camp
