■Background
Motohiro Hayashi (Visiting Associate Professor at Hawaii International University), President of Hayashi Giken Corporation, overcame his own kidney-related illness with the endangered Class II plant "inutouki," which inspired him to begin research and develop a supplement for human use, which he sells at his beauty and health salon "Ulyseed" run by his CEO, Hayashi. For about 10 years since its launch, it has become a hit product with 99% of customers repeating their purchases.
Based on the results for humans, we started research and development for dogs and cats, as kidney disease is one of the top factors shortening life expectancy.
As a result of tests conducted by veterinarians on dogs and cats with the disease, it was recognized that the product dramatically improved the kidney function of cats by 83%, leading to the presentation of the results at an academic conference.
In March 2025, we compiled these results and published them in a book titled "Cat Kidney Cured! -The Miraculous Inutouki that Cured an Incurable Disease" will be published.
What is "inutoki," an endangered plant in Category II?
It is a highly rare plant that is only allowed to be used through cultivation because it is an "endangered species II", unlike the same species of inugatoki, which is registered as a Chinese herbal medicine.
It contains dozens of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, as well as a component called "YN-1" (isoepoxypteryxin).
The cultivation of "dogtooth violet" is not easy. It takes five years to grow to its medicinal potential, and it is a rare plant (endangered species) that has been grown with measures to prevent root rot during cultivation.
After harvesting, the land has so much power of the earth that crops cannot be grown for several years.
Inutoki" is also a solution to the problem of aging pets.
However, cats and small dogs often suffer from kidney function decline when they reach the age of five. At the same time, although pet owners are aware of the importance of kidney care for their aging pets, they often think that "my pet is fine" because they take pride in taking sufficient care of its diet and living environment, resulting in a delay in the detection of kidney disease. However, by the time a blood test reveals kidney disease, the function of the kidney has deteriorated to 6 or 5 out of 10 levels, and pets that have not undergone regular checkups are often diagnosed after abnormalities are detected in their daily activities, which is often too late to detect the disease.
In fact, when it comes to kidney disease, the improvement rate is so low that it is even referred to as an "incurable disease," and the reality is that the best treatment is to maintain the current status through diet and intravenous infusions.
By learning more about the endangered species II plant "inutouki," the kidney function improvement rate is dramatically high, and effective kidney care can be easily provided, which will alleviate the kidney concerns of dogs, cats, and their owners.
Both human and canine/cat supplements made from "canine toki" have been designated as recommended products by the Japan Adult Disease Prevention Association, and the canine/cat supplement was the first in the pet industry to be recognized.
Both human/dog/cat supplements are made from domestically produced ingredients and manufactured in Japan, so you can use them with peace of mind.
We introduce examples of improvement in the testing stage under the guidance of veterinarians, as well as cases of improvement that were purchased after the product was launched and showed results as early as possible on Instagram and the Amoeba blog.
