MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc., Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co. (President and Group CEO: Shinichiro Funabiki), Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. (President: Shiro Kaji) have been certified as "Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Promotion Enterprises for 2024".

The Mitsui Sumitomo Aioi Group has been working on the realization of "Well-being of various people" as a priority issue in the sustainability initiatives of its mid-term management plan. Through sports promotion activities, we aim to continue to grow together with society by contributing to a healthier and longer-lived society and improving employee engagement.

About the Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Promotion Organization

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government certifies companies that promote sports activities of their employees and social contribution activities in the field of sports as "Tokyo Sports Promotion Companies" in order to motivate companies and other organizations to engage in sports.

The program was launched in fiscal year 2007, and 583 companies were certified this year, the 10th time this program has been implemented.

Major Initiatives of the Minebea Group

The Minebea Group has long been involved in the promotion of sports, and currently has about 50 athletes and para-athletes belonging to Group companies.

Since this fiscal year, we have been conducting group-wide cheering and joint training for athletes in order to wish them the best performance and to foster a sense of unity among group employees.
