Development Background

The developer had been experiencing straight neck, neck pain, stiff shoulders, tired eyes, and eyestrain due to long hours at the desk, working on a computer, and using a smartphone. When he consulted with his osteopathic clinic, he was given a hot pack for his neck as part of a heat therapy session. I was told that hot packs are expected to "promote blood circulation," "relieve muscle tension," and "relieve pain." Since I could feel the warmth of the packs and the effect of promoting blood circulation, I wondered if I could easily warm my neck at home or in the office.

We developed this product through discussions with everyone in the company, including making it a 2-way type so that it can be used not only for the neck, but also for the eyes and ears, and making it a 3-part structure so that it fits easily to the body.
