AWP is security software that prevents unauthorized use of confidential information shared via web systems.

It prohibits downloading (saving)/printing/copying/screen capturing of PDF and Microsoft Office files (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) displayed in the browser.

Since the configuration combines a web system with a filter-type server, it can be installed in any web system without the need to customize the existing web system.

Product Features

(1) It is possible to restrict downloading (saving), printing, copying, and screen capture of HTML, PDF, TIFF, Microsoft Office, DocuWorks, and XVL displayed in the browser, HTML generated dynamically by server-side scripts such as JavaScript, ASP, PHP, etc. is also supported.

(2) Usage restrictions such as download prohibition can be easily set according to the site configuration of the web system in operation. Usage privileges can be set on a group/user basis, assigned to client terminal, or configured flexibly. When printing is permitted, a watermark can also be inserted into printed materials.

(3) Content files (PDF/TIFF/Microsoft Office/DocuWorks/XVL) are protected by encryption to prevent leakage from the network. Content (HTML, text, video, images, etc.) displayed on the browser itself can also be used safely without leaving a cache.

Some specifications differ when using Edge IE mode.

(4) Browser menu/key operations are automatically controlled when viewing protected content. Users can simply browse as before, but downloading and copying are prohibited, eliminating the burden of operation.

(5) The system configuration combines a filter-type AWP server, so there is no need to modify the web system in operation. This reduces the time and cost of installation and modification.
