The event was opened with an opening speech by a representative of the Embassy of Japan in Italy. A bingo tournament was also held, and the venue was filled with excitement. Bingo prizes included Japanese snacks, nabe stock, cup noodles, retort-packed curry, and packaged rice, all of which are hard to find in Italy, and were much appreciated by the participants.
