SIS Academy (located at 36 Chidori-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture; President: Akira Wakasa), a non-profit organization that builds and improves human resource development environments through exercise and sports, is conducting a crowdfunding campaign to operate SIS Conditioning BASE, a facility to develop and produce leaders in exercise, sports, and digital technology. The project is currently underway through December 31, 2025 (Wednesday) on "Syncable".

Currently, SIS Conditioning BASE is being used by member elementary and junior high school students and for sports learning and physical/skills training.

Project Background

There is an urgent need to develop an appropriate physical sports and digital environment for children in their developmental years, but there are no centers for various functions (physical checkups, training, etc.) in rural areas, and there is a problem with the dispersion of these functions.

We decided to implement this project out of the desire to create SIS Conditioning BASE in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, which will serve as a place not only for sports, but also for expanding the options for the developmental age group, a place where they can feel free to come, and a place where different groups, different ages, and multiple generations can interact, as well as a facility that can train and produce leaders.

Especially for middle and high school students, they can drop by after school on weekdays to study, train, and get in touch with digital technology, and interact with a variety of people. Also, since dinner can be served, we believe that this will also reduce the burden on families.

■Current Status Report

Pre-opening was realized in December 2024. Starting with member elementary and junior high school students, the large space is used for sports learning and physical/skills training. In addition, with the introduction of InBody, a device that measures body composition, the experience of measuring body composition provides an opportunity to learn about one's own body and how to train.

In addition, the large space is used as a rehearsal space for local children's theater troupes, and for events held at the facility in preparation for certification as a digital center.
